Experiential Outdoor Education

At Point Fermin Camp, the Catalina Island Marine Institute, Skyhook Clear Creek Camp, and beyond, our students engage in experiential learning that brings subjects to life. In these outdoor settings, they explore science and ecology, dive into biology, and cultivate their understanding of health and socialization. Each experience fosters a sense of wonder and discovery, encouraging students to connect with nature and each other in meaningful ways.

Monte Vista offers exciting overnight science field trips for students. Our students will experience the natural beauty and educational opportunities at Point Fermin. They will explore the wonders of Clear Creek Camp. Additionally, Catalina Island Marine Institute provides a unique setting for hands-on learning about marine life and ecosystems. These trips are designed to deepen students’ understanding of science while fostering a love for the outdoors.
